A winter home insulation product can help keep your home safe from the cold and wind, a consumer watchdog group says.
In a new report, the National Association of Home Builders (NAAHB) says a home insulation blend known as HomeSafe™ or N1™ helps reduce heat loss in a home.
The NAAHB also says a HomeSafe product is a must for most people who buy homes during a time of increased winter temperatures.”HomeSafe™ is a safe, low-cost and effective insulation product for many home owners, but it’s not available everywhere and it can be difficult to find.
If you’re not sure whether HomeSafe is right for you, it’s a good idea to seek out the product’s manufacturer’s information, such as its label, for more information,” said NAAABB Vice President John Beddows.”
If you do decide to buy HomeSafe, be sure to read the label and ensure that the product is suitable for your home,” he added.
N1™ is made of polyethylene, polypropylene and polypropylene, with an energy density of about 2,000 watts per square meter.
Its packaging is designed to absorb cold air and heat, with insulation covering the inside of the home, including windows, doors and ceilings.
The insulation can be placed in the floor, or attached to a wall, door or window, and can be installed by a contractor.
HomeSafe can be purchased online and at many retailers, including Home Depot, Lowe’s and Home Depot.
The NAAIB recommends using N1 in your home in colder climates, when winter is approaching.
