Bristol City are poised to lose Ben Chilkorn this summer, according to talkSPORT.
The left-back will leave the club in the summer after his contract expires at the end of the season.
The 26-year-old, who has made over 600 appearances for the Bluebirds, is a free agent.
Speaking to TalkSport, Bristol City boss Simon Grayson said: “We are really disappointed for Ben.
We know what we are doing.
But there are other options. “
We have no intention of selling him and we would like to keep him.”
But there are other options.
“As soon as the contract expires we are looking at other options for him.”
The Bluebirds are hoping to bring Chilkorns’ contract with them to the end-of-season auction.
The player has been capped 29 times by his country and scored seven goals in his career.
Chilkorns career has been blighted by injury and he missed the majority of the 2016-17 campaign after suffering a cruciate ligament injury.
However, he made a strong comeback in the 2017-18 campaign and was named Player of the Year.
The defender has made 39 appearances this season for the club, including 19 starts.
